Ms. Mary's Monday Review

The Simple Prince, by Jane Yolen, teaches children gratitude, as well as an appreciation of all the hard work that goes into living daily life.  Jane Yolen is a wonderful author of so many children's books, and although this was one of her early works, she shows us such a valuable lesson about responsiblities and privileges.
This would be a great accompaniment to a lesson on Farm to Table eating.
