The book
Drawn Together by Minh Le is a wonderful way to discuss communicating with those who speak another language, but it also shows the love between grandparents and grandchildren. This book was recommended by a parent who reads a lot of good children's books. It was illustrated by Caldecott medalist Dan Santat. It's easy to read, at A. R. level 2.1, and passing the A. R. test will earn you 0.5 point.
